Responsible for planning, scheduling and coordinating geotechnical field investigations including standard borings and special field testing, such as pressuremeter testing, seismic cone penetrometer testing, vane shear tests, resistivity testing and load tests of deep foundations.
Writing geotechnical reports with recommendations for designing all types of foundations, shallow and deep, earthen dams, geosynthetic retaining walls, sheeting, deep dynamic compaction, asphalt pavement designs and analyzing slope stability. Performed seepage analysis and provided subsurface drainage designs. Provide expert witness testimony.
Performing field work including supervision of deep foundations such as driven steel piles, timber piles, drilled piers and caissons. Supervised ground improvement techniques such as dynamic compaction, grouting and preloading of sites.
